A POWER company is holding a public exhibition tomorrow to unveil plans for a solar farm and energy centre which could bring up to 200 new jobs to Cross Hands.
Clean Power will display plans for the new build at the former landfill site at New Lodge Farm, next to the A48.
It is estimated that the centre will create up to 40 new full time jobs in a range of roles throughout its designed operating life of 25 years, and up to 200 jobs during the 18 month construction phase.
And it could generate up to 20MW of renewable electricity — the equivalent of powering up to 25,000 homes.
