UK PV market slips again to only 195 MW in Q3 2013 http://www.energy-broker.co.uk/uk-pv-market-slips-again-to-only-195-mw-in-q3-2013/

The UK commissioned 195 MW of solar photovoltaic (PV) capacity during the third quarter of 2013, according to figures released by the nation’s Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC).

DECC counts 140 MW commissioned and accredited through the nation’s feed-in tariff, as well as 47 MW commissioned and accredited through the Renewables Obligation (RO). However, as microgeneration certification (MCS) registered capacity fell, some of the newly commissioned rooftop PV plants may have moved between programs.

This marks the second quarter of a slowing UK market after a peak of 411 MW in the first quarter of 2013, which included 167 MW through the RO. It also shows a significant increase in the number of unaccredited installations, which rose to 45 MW, 41 MW of which was larger than 5 MW.
